Nadiya Dance

Nadiya has been dancing in the Clarksville area for over six years.  She received her primary training in Oriental style belly dancing from Linda and Dania, both previous instructors in Clarksville.  She has also received instruction in other styles of belly dancing through workshops conducted by Mahmoud Reda, Bozenka and Kami Liddle of the Belly Dance Superstars, Zi'a Ali of Awalim, DaVid of Scandinavia, and many other talented dancers.

Nadiya enjoys incorporating her background in anthropology and teaching into her belly dance instruction.  She began instructing beginner belly dance classes in 2005, on a temporary basis, and expanded her instruction in 2006 to weekly classes in Clarksville.

Nadiya is also the creator and director of the Jezebellies belly dance troupe.  The troupe consists of belly dance students and teachers from the Clarksville area.  The Jezebellies have been performing since 2007 at various community and non-profit events throughout middle Tennessee.
